We help communities and health professionals get healthier, through healthifying wellness training and experiential learning, that is design to heal the whole-person – body, mind and spirit.
Our training is also designed to uprgrade the core knowledge and skills of health care professionals to ensure they can meet the new challeneges and demands of a changing health care landscape.
We are powering up to run classroom courses every other day, throughout the year. We offer three (3) of levels of experiential and relational learning through:
- Pre-Service and On-Boarding training and certification.
- On-Going In-Service training and certification.
- Health Care Leadership training and certification.
Why?
For over 50 years, the U.S. health care industry was based on a fee-for-service model of care. Providers were rewarded financially for the volume number of services they provided.
Since 2008, the U.S. government and regulatory agencies has ushered in value-based care legislation and programs. Based on these programs, providers are now rewarded financially for the quality and safety of health outcomes instead of the number of services rendered.
The transition from volume-based to value-based care is shifting the health care landscape in five different ways. In complexity, structure, language, consumer expectations, and reimbursement.
All three levels of training are designed to train and transition the T-BACK$™ – Thinking, Behavior, Attitude, Communication, Knowledge and $kills of health care professionals schooled in fee-for-service (volume-based) model of care, into the new roles they must play in the value-based care landscape.
Why Is This So Important?
Because NO ONE, publically, has has accepted ownership and accountability for adequately and effectively preparing communities and health workers, for the journey from volume-based to value-based care.
Our training system is designed to measure the progress of learning, in closing the knowledge and skill gaps of communities and health professionals that advance the goals of the Triple and Quadruple Aim –
- Improving the patient experience of care (including quality, safety and satisfaction), known as Patient Experience.
- Improving Population Health – the health of women, children and families.
- Reducing per capita cost of health care, known as Cost of Care.
- Improving the work life of clinicians and staff.
Get Healthier Care Together, Inc has taken ownership of this challenge and is seeking the needed donations to provide training to communities and health care professionals at all levels of care.
Funding will ensure the communities we serve, are not left further behind, as the health care industry continues its histroic journey, from volume-based to value-based care.
